Everybody knows Canadians are the nicest people in the world. And I managed to rile him up.
I’ve been in the business of creating small businesses for a long time now. And I’ve purchased sooooo many courses. Some of them were really good, but they were too advanced for me. Some of them were probably good in their time, but they became outdated and hadn’t been revised.
But, I figured, at this point I had enough various courses and trainings to get me where I want to go – making a high income through my on-line business.
A little about me – I quit a very high paying job in investment banking after my daughter was born. I was traveling a ton and could usually take her with me, but when I found out we were expecting her brother, it was time to get out.
I consulted for a few years and gradually lost my contacts in that banking world. So we tightened our belts and became a single income family. I always though I would go back to work once the kids were old enough.
One thing led to another and suddenly I had been out of the workforce for more than 10 years. At that point, I started looking for a job. I still knew a few people and my resume, until the break, was fantastic.
Crickets.
Nada.
No responses.
Even in places where my contacts suggested I apply, I didn’t even get a ‘no thank you’ response.
Without realizing it, I made myself unemployable.
Now What?
I did what lots of us do. I decided to start my own business. I know how to do a lot of things. Surely ONE of them was worth an income.
After struggling on my own for years, I decided it was time to pay for some help. I actually got a temporary job to get the money to invest in my business.
There have been plenty of ups & downs, but now I’m in a really good place and am ready to help other people like me.
People who want to leave their jobs, but aren’t sure how. Or people who can’t find a job that pays anywhere close to what they are worth.
Finding a Community
One of the best things I’ve done was to connect with other individuals on the same path. I have one friend who is also on this business building journey and we’ve met once each week for nearly 5 years. I absolutely would not be where I am today without her.
Then I met the other ‘Chicks in Business’ and we formed this group to help other people learn from our years and years of online business and investing experience.
Back to my Friend from Canada
So how did I end up fighting with a very nice man from Canada?
Many people had recommended Legendary Marketer to me as a way to learn the online business world from the ground up.
I didn’t need to learn it from the ground up! It would be a waste of my time!
But since we are looking at programs to recommend to other entrepreneurs, why not take a look at this one?
I didn’t want to. I was sure I already had all the resources I need (after all, I’m doing well, right?) and had plenty to recommend.
But I signed up for the Legendary Marketer 15 Day Challenge for $7. Not a huge investment.
And when the coach I had been talking to started telling me about the Business Blueprints program that I could invest in. I started pushing back. I’m one of the most skeptical people in the world and the more times someone tells me how this is the best training out there and how they are not one of the programs that sets out to scam you, the more I wonder if they are scamming me. (To be clear – I really believe the vast majority of reputable programs are not out to scam anyone. They are just not for everyone)
So we argued back and for for a while on the phone. Me being my usual skeptical self and him trying not to get mad at me!
We hung up, probably both relieved we would never have to speak to each other again!
The Chicks had Other Plans
When I let my fellow Chicks in Business know how mad I was – they though it was hilarious! And decided that I am just the right person to go through Legendary Marketer and review it for you!
So here we go!
First Impressions
I spend the first day on Legendary Marketer looking around at the resources and I just have to say –
WOW.
It is clearly a company that has been teaching entrepreneurs the skills they need for a long time, and know what they are doing.
The lessons are set up in a great, easy to follow, system and everyone starts off with a full day online group coaching session to get your questions answered and get you oriented.
We will see how the lessons are as I go through them and let you know if I personally think Legendary Marketer lives up to the hype!
